????? ?The institute is mainly engaged in R&D, application and promotion of pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention & control technology and veterinary vaccines and drugs for swine diseases, poultry diseases, aquatic diseases, zoonosis and parasitic disease. It established the Guangdong Science-observation Experiment Station of Veterinary Drugs and Veterinary Biological Technology, Ministry of Agriculture, Guangdong Open Laboratory of Veterinary Public Health, Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Livestock Disease Prevention, South China Animal Disease Germplasm Resource Center, and the Guangzhou Engineering Research Center for Animal Disease Diagnosis Industry.
